Hyatt Regency Hill Country Description
There's one kind of San Antonio vacation that's made of history and culture, and another of the sunshine and escapist variety. The latter's on the menu at Hyatt Regency Hill Country, a 200-acre compound made for unabashed play, with campfires (s'mores, anyone?), biking, basketball, and a long and lazy river upon which you can park your caboose (inner tubes provided) and happily float the day away. Golf, tennis, a spa, and numerous restaurants and swimming holes complete the picture. The fact that it's across the street from SeaWorld is just icing on the cake.
Kid Tips
Pre-Teens & Teens: Teen-centric goodies (DDR, video gaming, parties) at the Underground club (ages 12-16 only) and teen-friendly spa treatments are huge hits with older kids.
Planning Notes
- Book ahead. Reserve well ahead for stays during busy seasons, most notably summer and spring break.
- Get the sked. Kid programs (Camp Hyatt and the Underground) are seasonal and charge an extra fee. Ask for operating times if you plan to use them.
