The Westin Galleria Houston Description
This full-service hotel has two towers, each connected to opposite ends of the fabled Galleria, meaning you (and your elatedly happy teenage daughters) can shop at one of almost 400 stores and then drop into a fluffy bed. Rooms are garden-variety high-rise, but each building has its own outdoor pool to unwind in after a long day of retail therapy.
Planning Notes
- Weekends better for families. Both Westins primarily target business travelers, and mid-week standard room rates can be as much as $50 higher than weekend nights.
- Kid perks. Those coming with little ones should ask about the Westin Kids Club. The program includes a goody bag for tots, plus directions for how to dial up bedtime stories right from your room.
