Baseball references are everywhere here: on the floors (baseball bat pattern in the carpet), on the walls (baseball-themed art), and even on the bedding (where -- talk about eye on the ball! -- true fans can detect actual baseball stitching on the comforter). It's not surprising since the hotel is across the street from Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros. Game days, the place is like a family baseball party.

Planning Notes

Game day. The Inn is truly optimal for getting to the stadium in time for the first pitch, and even better, for buying team souvenirs (the Astros store is across from the hotel).

Separate admission. While the hotel has baseball written all over it, there are no hotel room/game ticket deals.

Walking distance. In addition to being near public transportation, the hotel is walking distance to the new Discovery Green park, as well as to numerous downtown restaurants.
