Once a pioneer's homestead, this sprawling no-frills campground has plenty of room and winding roads for kids to explore by bike or on foot, and a variety of sites (woods, meadows, and riverside) to choose from. The neighboring Androscoggin Ranger Station Visitor Center has maps and information on nearby hikes, two of which leave from the campground.
