MGM Grand Description

With its Lion Habitat, lazy river pool, Cirque du Soleil show "KA," and lots of casual restaurants such as Diego and 'wichcraft, the MGM Grand is a great choice for families. The five-pool complex, where hotel inner tubes float you around the palm-studded grounds, is the top selling point to kids.

Kid Tips

Toddlers & Pre-K: There's a lot of noise and activity at this hotel, but the pool deck is a relatively calm oasis for little ones.

School-Age Kids: The lavish pools will have them talking about this hotel for a long time.

Pre-Teens & Teens: Attractions like CBS Television City (with show screenings) engage the teenage set.

Planning Notes

  • Avoid the casino altogether. MGM's Signature towers are smoke-free, gaming-free high-rises connected to the mothership by a moving walkway, and come with kitchenettes.
  • Upgrade for more breathing room. A suite gets you a couch and a little more space.
