What we loved:
the lake, the forest
What we didn't love:
drive can be rough
Very rough road, very narrow. Have to drive a long ways to get there on bad roads, and then take an even worse road to the campground at the entrance station. For a family of school age kids and teens, this could be a fun adventure. For toddlers and babies it's really not acceptable.
Beautiful views, wonderful lake, mountains and forest. Worth it, but be careful on the road. We found out about and saw the campground here:
