Big Cedar Lodge Description
A sprawling, full-service hotel set high in the knobs on Lake Taneycomo, Big Cedar is a lush, lodge-type property with tons of complimentary kid-friendly activities, including kid's pools, horseshoes, miniature golf, and bonfires. A spa, marina (canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are free), and riding stables mean there's always something for families to do.
Planning Notes
- Book it early. The addition of a conference center at Big Cedar may mean rooms will be booked well in advance, especially during peak seasons (spring, early summer, and fall) and on holiday weekends.
- Take your pick. Accommodations range from hotel-style rooms to small cabins and larger lodges.
- Extra for extras. Horseback riding, guided fishing, jet ski, and boat rentals are at an additional cost; during the summer season, a kids' camp is also available.
- Just 10 minutes from Branson. The lodge is set in the hills outside of Branson, and is an easy drive from the downtown attractions and theater area.
