Beartown State Forest Description
Campgrounds near Benedict Pond enjoy proximity to one of the loveliest swimming holes in the area, plus a place to put in your non-motorized boat. Hiking's another draw for this popular campground, with 12,000 acres offering on-site paths (such as the 1.5-mile Benedict Bond Loop) as well as access to the Appalachian Trail.

- Reserve early. Campsites here are in-demand and extremely limited, with only 12 total sites. Secure your spot well in advance.
