Winnetu Oceanside Resort Description
Parents love this comfy inn for its dual personalities. Beneath all the modern comforts beats the heart of a throwback. Composed of an inn as well as cottages, the beach-side Winnetu acts like a summer community, where kids ride bikes to fish off the dock in Edgartown or head to the main house for old-time board games in the library. The life-sized chess set in the courtyard makes even big kids feel a little like Alice. Which is fitting, since the place definitely feels like wonderland.

Babies: Baby equipment such as cribs and high chairs can be rented on-site, but need to be reserved ahead of time.
Planning Notes
- Plan ahead. Many items have to be reserved in advance, including bikes, cabanas, dinner times, and spots at the Wednesday-night clam bakes.
- Reserve transportation. Shuttle service from the ferry dock means you can leave the car at home, but you'll need to arrange for pick-up in advance.
- Consider child care. Spring and fall parent/toddler programs are extremely popular. Reserve a spot in advance.
