Seaport Hotel Description
Within walking distance to the Children's Museum, this luxury hotel is a haven for families. The rooms are spacious by Boston standards, the view is phenomenal (ask for a room on the 10th floor or above), and access to the T's Silver Line is across the street. There's a sunny indoor heated pool your kids will love in a full health club inside the hotel (free to guests). The only drawback is that you aren't right downtown. But the hotel provides a free shuttle service to Fanueil Hall Market (where you can hop on the Green Line) on weekdays.
Planning Notes
- Don't tip. The hotel is service inclusive, which means you're not supposed to tip.
- Leave your computer at home. Since the majority of their patrons are in Boston on business, the hotel has Internet and even computers in every room.
- Complimentary fridges. Though there isn't a kitchenette, you can ask the staff to bring you a complimentary fridge. It's a great way to save money on food.
- Good for allergies. The entire hotel is smoke-free, and the Seaport also has four rooms for guests with asthma and allergies with hypoallergenic bedding and air purifiers. Ask for one if your children suffer from asthma.
