This close-to-everything resort is just a few miles from downtown, the area's scenic countryside, and the best of the Bluegrass state's horse attractions, Keeneland and Kentucky Horse Park. Recently renovated and expanded, the resort now includes a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and a golf course; five levels of the hotel are concierge level, offering breakfast and afternoon snacks during the week.

Planning Notes

Book well in advance during racing season. This is the unofficial hotel headquarters for the horse racing elite (owners, trainers, and jockeys), so plan ahead if you'll be traveling in April or from September to November.
No time for boredom. A horsehoe pit, lighted sport courts, and a kid's club—offering board games and crafts on Friday and Saturday afternoons—mean there's no way kids can say they have nothing to do.
