Red Horse Mountain Lodge Description
This sprawling, all-inclusive resort tucked into the mountains about 45 minutes from downtown CDA offers seven cabins which sleep four to eight people and suite-style rooms in the main lodge. Lodge pole furnishings, wooly, Pendleton-style blankets, and porches with rockers proide a rustic retreat; activities include trail rides, a rock climbing wall, sporting clays, mountain biking and guided and unguided hikes, and more
Planning Notes
- Plan ahead. Reserve lodging as far in advance as possible; smaller cabins fill up quickly, especially for the summer months.
- What's included. All activites, meals, and lodging are included in the price, including an open bar from 5-6 p.m. each evening.
- Kids only. A children's program aimed at 3-11-year-olds offer parents a chance to experience some of the more challenging activities while the kids are engaged in more age-appropriate fun.
- Minimum stay. During summer months, a three-night minimum say is required.
- Date-ing game. The ranch is open almost year-round; closed for November and December but re-opens for New Year's Eve and then weekends through end of March, with a full schedule picking up in April.
