Embassy Suites -- Waikiki Beach Walk Description
The Waikiki area features blocks of hotels, each one claiming to be better than the last. The Waikiki Beach Walk gets points for comfort and its central location. All of the rooms are suites, allowing families plenty of room to spread out and relax. Many of the rooms have an ocean view, but even if you can't see the ocean from your lanai (balcony), Waikiki Beach is only a few steps away. Let the kids frolic in the pool while you relax at the nightly manager's reception that includes pupus (appetizers) and drinks from a poolside bar. Goldfish crackers and free-flowing juice and soda will entice the kids to take a break from swimming just long enough to grab a snack. Room rates also include a full cooked-to-order buffet breakfast for all guests.
Planning Notes
- Save money. Check the website for ongoing specials.
- Entertainment. Enjoy live Hawaiian music -- and maybe a little hula -- during breakfast and poolside in the evenings.
- Parking. Finding a place to park in downtown Honolulu is difficult at best. If you do have a rental car, you’ll more than likely have to fork out for valet parking at the hotel -- which costs $25 per day.
