With affordable prices, free breakfast, and an array of free cultural activities (including live Hawaiian entertainment on Friday and Saturdays nights), this Outrigger resort is a down-to-earth, friendly, affordable place for families to stay.
Planning Notes
- The best snorkeling this side of the island. Just walking distance from the hotel.
- Bring your laptop. There's free wireless in the lobby and plug-in internet access in all the rooms.
- Mondays 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. There's a free hula dance and chant class for hotel guests at the Royal Gardens across from the lobby.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m. Join a knowledgeable guide for a complimentary walking cultural tour of the history of the sacred places of worship on the hotel property.
- Free dance, art, and music classes. Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. there's a modern hula dance class in the hotel lobby. On Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Hawaiian arts and crafts are taught. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30- 2 p.m. the hotel offers guests free ukulele lessons.
