The Inn at Dupont Circle (South) Description
Location, location, location -- this bed and breakfast's location in the heart of downtown D.C. and just a block away from the Dupont Circle metro station can't be beat. But there's more: absolute family-friendliness in a hotel filled with charm (it's a former Victorian townhouse, once owned by the astrologer Jeanne Dixon). You'd think bed and breakfasts mostly cater to the romantic-couple crowd, but this inn welcomes kids with open arms. The innkeeper is happy to help plan your stay and point you to local sites and eateries. Older kids (and you!) will be happy to see flat-screen TVs and take advantage of complimentary wireless access.
Planning Notes
- Tea, totally. If your day's itinerary permits, stop back at the hotel in the late afternoon for tea, lemonade, and cookies, particularly during the warmer months when they're served in the courtyard garden.

What we loved:
I loved the location and room
What we didn't love:
I couldnt get a wake up call
I was a pleasure staying at the Inn at Dupont Circle. I was amazed by the look of the room, for the price I paid it was a few notches up. After sightseeing with my family it was nice to go and relax in a room I felt really comfortable in. My kids loved it and we plan to return again soon. Read More
