Sylvia Hotel Description
This unique hotel is a designated heritage building, full of old-fashioned historical charm. These are not luxury accommodations and the hotel is definitely showing its age, but you won't find better waterfront lodging for the price. For families, the Sylvia's prime appeal may be its location: hop across the street to the beach, walk along the ocean shore to the beaches and playground of Stanley Park, or take a longer but still easy stroll through the nearby shopping districts of Denman Street and Robson Street.
Planning Notes
- Limited room service. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the Sylvia bistro, on the charming outdoor patio, and in the more formal dining room, however.
- Kitchens available. The suites have fully equipped kitchens and are large enough for families.
- Book early. The Sylvia Hotel is enormously popular; reservations are accepted up to one year in advance.
