Andril Fireplace Cottages Description
Each member of our family had a different reason for loving Andril Cottages. For me, the knotty-pine paneled décor was the ultimate in cozy, reminscent of my childhood summers in Lake Tahoe cabins. The man of the family got to feel like, well, a man, thanks to the wood stove and endless supply of crackling firewood. My girls headed straight for the ping-pong table and hot tub in the central garden area, and even climbed on the play equipment though it was sized a little too small for them. The owners have thought of everything -- there's a huge collection of DVDs to watch, free wi-fi and flat-screen TVs in the living room and in the bedrooms so you don't all have to agree on one movie.
Planning Notes
- The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can have breakfast together before heading out, or enjoy late-night ice cream. Several big markets, including a Trader Joe's, are just a few blocks up the hill. Not only are the Andril Cottages completely dog-friendly, there's a perfect dog-walking beach just minutes away.
