Thanks to a spectacular layout featuring a swath of perfect swimming beach, three pools, and the Sheraton "Love Your Family" program (a kids' activity program that's much more comprehensive than most), the Sheraton Cable Beach Resort trumps Nassau's other resorts for family-friendliness. The Adventure Club has plenty to occupy little ones, while poolside movies, dance parties, and beach bonfires keep teens stoked. After an overhaul in spring 2008 that took the building down to the studs, the resort has a freshness and sparkle that extends inside and out. Rooms are elegantly nautical, yet comfortable enough that you don't worry about spills and bed-jumping, and almost every one has a spectacular ocean view. The three on-site restaurants cover all bases from casual sandwiches and salads at the Dolphin Grill (come in your flip-flops and towel) to gourmet Italian at the Amici trattoria. Best of all is the buffet-style Bimini Market, perfect for picky eaters and hungry teens. The only thing lacking is a water slide; but wait—there's a great one next door at the Wyndham, where all Sheraton guests have unlimited privileges.
