John Colter Cafe Court Description

If you're looking for convenient, casual family dining that actually tastes great, stop at the John Colter Cafe Court while visiting Colter Bay Village in Grand Teton National Park. There's a full service, sit-down restaurant right next door (the Chuckwagon) with a breakfast buffet, but for a quick in-and-out meal, the Cafe Court can't be beat.

Planning Notes

    • Eat with a view. Sit at the low counter facing the windows for a view of the Tetons. Watch for ground squirrels scurrying back and forth gathering nesting materials.
    • Don't fret about the lack of a kids' menu. Kid-friendly offerings include hot dogs, quesadillas, and a deli sandwich, and there's chocolate and unflavored milk for sale in the drink coolers.
    • Try the tacos. Whether it's wild salmon or free-range chicken, the house specialty tacos are fresh and delicious.
