Highland Park Pharmacy Description
Tony Highland Park's most basic eatery, the Pharmacy serves up old-fashioned shakes and grilled cheese or pimento sandwiches made on mushy, white Wonderbread. So what's to love? The charm, the prices, the basic fun of twirling on a counter stool and slurping down a chocolate shake, and the fact that there's no seperating the wonders of a 1912 pharmacy and store from the grill.
Planning Notes
- Seat yourself. No one's going to escort you to a seat.
- A little patience. Prepare to wait at lunchtime, when there's always a crowd. But tables turn pretty quickly, so the wait is never too long.
