Hog Heaven Barbecue Description
Not only does Hog Heaven feature a great view of Nashville's hokey replica of the Parthenon, it has the best hand-pulled pork, blackeyed peas, and turnip greens you'll ever taste. A great introduction to the joys of regional cooking for kids who think everyone eats the same no matter where they live.
Planning Notes
- Location, location, location. Sit where you have a good view of Nashville's own Parthenon. There's outdoor seating for 3,000 in Centennial Park, but it may be too hot at midday to take advantage of it. But they close at 7, so get there early for a late afternoon or early evening supper.
