Lidia's Italy Description
For a taste treat for adults that is still friendly to kids, try Lidia's Italy (the Lidia behind "Lidia's Italy," the PBS cooking show). Although it doesn't have a children's menu, the staff is eager to make any accommodations necessary for younger palates (including buttered pasta).
Planning Notes
- As seen on TV. Older kids will get a thrill out of visiting this restaurant after watching the PBS show. Check your local station's website to find out when it's on.
- Casual dessert. If you want something a little less formal (and less expensive) for dessert, try nearby Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor, a mouthwatering Pittsburgh institution.
