Peanut Butter and Ellie's Description

This is the restaurant you always dreamed of for you kids -- it serves healthy, kid-friendly food that they'll love (like whole-wheat macaroni and cheese), has lots of toys (including wooden puzzles, a wooden train set, and chalkboards for drawing on the walls), and the staff smiles at spilled milk. There's an impressive array of events each month, including dinner puppet shows and "PB&Jammy" kid concerts every other Saturday night.

Planning Notes

  • Dinner is the best time to go. Lunchtime tends to be more crowded.
  • Arrive early for special events. Get there at least 45 minutes before the show to secure seats. Events are listed monthly: http://www.pbecafe.com/special.html
  • Call ahead for reservations. Same-day reservations are a good idea, especially for lunch.
  • Follow directions. PB&E's is in a residential neighborhood and can be tricky to find, so get directions online and bring them with you.
  • Explore Gabriel Park. There's a nice park and swimming pool across the street where your little ones can burn off some energy.
