Review for Old Wives' Tales
Kid friend friendly and parent friendly
Old Wives' Tales in Portland, OR

What we loved:
The kiddos loved the playroom and the food is yummy. I loved the soup.
What we didn't love:
The streets are one way and the parking lot is on a side street.
A family friend recommended this place a few years ago and weve been going here ever since. The kiddos love the playroom and I love being able to eat real food while they play. I always get the Hungarian Mushroom soup with the salad bar and the hubs usually gets the Japanese veggie pancake or something from the specials. We get the pumpkin pudding for dessert. It has tofu in it and the kids love it. Dont tell them it has tofu in it! Haha. Youd never know, its delish. Its a really low key place and feels homey. We took our relatives from out of town there recently because our nephew has a wheat allergy and this place has lots of food with no gluten for him and it made dinner so easy and without stress. Love!
