With a hot bar loaded with yummy choices like pizza, veggie samosas, and brown rice (the menu changes daily), and a salad bar full of organic greens, this is a pleasant, brightly-lit, low-key place to eat with kids (who will especially appreciate the kids' corner in the back full of books and toys). Extra bonus: Stock up on groceries here to save money on dining out.
Planning Notes
- Lunch only. Hot food is available from 11 a.m. until it runs out (usually around 2:30 p.m.) and the salad bar is available until 6 p.m.
- Sold by the pound. Everything costs $6.99/lb, so choose light-weighing food if your pocketbook isn't feeling heavy.
- Ingredient list for every item. If food allergies are a concern, take advantage of their posted ingredient lists.
- Take it with you. Oceana makes it convenient to eat in or take out.
