House of Blues Description
There are House of Blues restaurants in many cities, but the location and offerings at the Cleveland location make it a worthy stop. With an outdoor patio on the pedestrian-only Fourth Street Promenade, even babies in strollers will enjoy the people watching. Indoors, the colorful art murals are a spectacular sight, many of which depict the African American experience and the history of blues music.
Planning Notes
- Come on Sunday. Rousing gospel music and an expansive, all-you-can-eat Southern buffet make a Sunday visit a special treat (adults and kids 13 and up: $33; kids 6-12: $16.50; kids under 5: free).
- Best in the afternoon and early evening. The crowd gets older and rowdier as the night goes on. Stick to afternoons and early evenings with younger kids.
- Don't skip the gift shop. Pick up a Cleveland House of Blues shirt or an official Blues Brothers Hat for a souvenir with style.
