Presti's Description

This bright, airy space offers a great spot to unwind and homemade pizza, sandwiches, and an array of desserts to refuel after a long day of sight-seeing. Kids love the great smells, funny sounding pastries (sfogiatelli, anyone?), and the choice of eating inside or out. You'll love the made-from-scratch goodness and the reasonable prices.

Planning Notes

  • Hopping on the weekend. Saturday and Sunday mornings are crowded, but most other times you'll be able to carve out more than enough space for your family.
  • Playground nearby. Tony Brush Park is about a block away. The park offers plenty of picnic tables and benches to enjoy your snacks, and both a regular-sized set of slides and climbing walls and a junior-sized set for little ones.
  • Eye-level desserts. Although Presti's is open for breakfast (and has a great selection of pastries and coffee) as well as lunch and dinner (offering delicious pizza and sandwiches), little ones will immediately gravitate to the trays of macaroons, brownies, and gelato that fill a cabinet just their size. Consider saving your visit for after a meal.
