The Silo Description
The guy who came up with the idea to create an eat-in restaurant by adding a balcony to a concrete silo must've had children in mind. Kids and their parents -- a mixture of locals and visitors -- nosh on hot dogs, french fries, and burgers from tables on the oddly shaped structure, then take their ice cream and smiles to go.
Planning Notes
- A good fill-up stop. Swing by after a tiring day of Whirlpool Jet Boating (the launch point is right next door) to refuel.
- Extra seating. If the balcony is full, opt for a nearby park bench or spread out a blanket for a picnic.
