Gigio's Cafe Description
From the outside, Gigio's is underwhelming, but open the door and slip into one of the Formica table booths and neither you nor the kids will leave hungry. Breakfast is THE meal here. Introduce your kids to food the way Mama makes it with homemade Italian bread and yummy Italian sausage patties. Most items on the menu are less than $6.50.
Planning Notes
- No kids menu. Portions are huge and kids are encouraged to "mangia" ("eat!") so choose a meal and ask for an extra plate for splitting. No one will raise an eyebrow.
- The smaller the child, the friendlier they get. Regulars hold court from the bar stools at the counter, which can seem intimidating when you first walk in. Within seconds they'll make you feel at home and will be pinching cheeks if you let them.
- Beware tight quarters and big strollers. It can be a tight squeeze if they're busy, so leave your stroller in the car or parked outside if it's bulky.
