Adrienne's Pizza Bar Description

The past meets the present on Stone Street. This street is considered to be one of the first paved streets of the new world and dates back to the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam. Stone Street has been restored to its 19th-century appearance and thanks to restaurants like Adrienne's Pizza Bar and the many others who have opened in its historic buildings, modern-day Stone Street is a foodies destination. Adrienne's, a narrow, brick lined eatery is perfect for families with fantastic pizza, quick service and great prices. The pizzas are rectangular thin crusted, crispy pies baked in a brick oven. One sheet pan-sized pie will easily feed two adults and one child. Salads, pastas and sandwiches are also on the menu. Be sure to check out our other Lower Manhattan vacation ideas.

Kid Tips

Toddlers & Pre-K: The restaurant is called Adrienne's Pizza Bar and the tables and chairs are quiet high like those found in a bar, which could be difficult for smaller kids. There are plenty of high chairs if you are dining with a little one who may not be able to reach the table. Lower tables and chairs are available outside on the restored cobblestone street among the elegantly renovated period buildings.

School-Age Kids: Even though kids eat here regularly there are no special menus for them and there is no milk on the menu.

Planning Notes

  • Avoid the crowds.Located in the heart of the financial district, this is a popular lunch spot with the many office workers in the area. The staff is accustomed to dealing with diners in a hurry so the service is really fast. But the restaurant is super crowded and sometimes there is a wait for a table. It is best to avoid dining here between noon and 1:00 pm on weekdays if you don't want to wait.
