Grom Description
Grom, leaders in the slow food movement, use the finest ingredients and even own their own fruit farm! Grom is a friendly, low-key, American-style ice cream counter with seating in the back that is usually full of families. And it isn't just for summer; the three single-origin hot chocolates are every bit as good as the gelato, and if you can't decide between the two, order Affogato con gelato, hot chocolate with a scoop of gelato nestled inside. Planning Notes
- Funky flavors. The gelato flavors are decidedly Italian, including tiramisu, bacio and marrons glace. Picky kids may prefer the fruit-based sorbets. My son's favorite is the Italian cookies and cream filled with chunks of cornmeal biscuits. If you find it hard to choose, they are more than happy to offer samples.
