What we loved:
There is a decent view of the boardwalk.

What we didn't love:
The food is awful and overpriced and the service is HORRIBLE.

If you are searching for a family place, the Boardwalk Bar & Grill is not your place. Actually, I cant imagine anybody who would want to eat here. Their gimmick is the location of the second floor right on the Point Pleasant boardwalk. Thats how they attract people and why there can be a line.br/br/But more so, theres a wait because the restaurant term applied loosely does not have that many large tables. In fact, there are only 4 booths indoors so if its slightly chilly out, you will not want to eat here. And when you do have to wait, you will be waiting in a cramped hallway with a lot of foot traffic, including an armed rent-a-cop. That should be indication enough that this is not a kids place.br/br/The hostess is extremely inexperienced and if you want to speak to the manager, youll find him to be obnoxious and rude. My two-year-old has better manners than this guy and probably could manage the restaurant 100% better.br/br/Then theres the food. Once you are actually seated, youll be treated to extremely slow service. The food will eventually arrive and its terrible. The chicken is rubbery, the burgers are overcooked and the sauces are very bland. Youd be better off at a Boardwalk kiosk. br/br/Then youll get the bill and realize that you just overpaid for a view that you can have for free on the boardwalk.
