Tahoe Queen Cruise Description
What kid wouldn't love to cruise Lake Tahoe on a triple-decker paddlewheel boat? Being on the water at Lake Tahoe is a must -- you can't really appreciate how beautiful and clear the water is until you see it from this perspective. Cruises depart several times a day from Ski Run Marina, in South Lake Tahoe. Once a day there's a "Family Fun" cruise (late May through early September) with special guest "Tahoe Tessie;" kids will love hearing about this silly serpent's adventures.

Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Kids this age will be excited by the boat ride -- but keep an eye on them, the top level is an "open" deck.
School-Age Kids: An ideal afternoon activity for kids this age.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Everyone will appreciate the view from the deck of this huge paddle wheeler.
Planning Notes
- Check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure. You can make reservations ahead of time, or buy tickets at the Marina.
- Don't forget to bring jackets or sweatshirts. It can be quite chilly and windy on the lake, even in mid summer.
- Watch out for the sun. Slather on the sunscreen before you depart.
- Lunch is available on board. It's not included in the price of the Family Fun Cruise, however.
