Baba Louie's Description
You'll know this fabled crispy-crust, wood fired pizza place by the crowds of people spilling on to the sidewalk trying to get in. How yummy is it? Let's just say you'll want a hotel nearby so you can come back and have another round for breakfast (alas, they only open for lunch and dinner).
Planning Notes
- Mmmmm. Fresh toppings like roasted parsnips and caramelized onions will be a pleasant surprise for adults but may not appeal to kids. Picky eaters will instead be fans of the pasta with butter or marinara sauce.
- Come early. This place is always crowded. Arrive when it opens to ensure your spot.
- Heed the hours. The restaurant closes for two hours between lunch and dinner.
- Skip the line. Can't bear the wait? Call ahead for takeout and have a picnic instead, either at the gazebo across the street next to town hall or along route 7 at the bottom of Monument Mountain.
