What we loved:
The beignets are delicious; the place is a landmark. Go!
What we didn't love:
Can be crowded and noisy, but its fun
Youve got to go to Cafe du Monde when youre in N.O. - its a great place to grab a mid-morning snack, a late afternoon rest stop, or for an after-hours binge. Kids will love the casual, slightly messy atmosphere seating is all outdoors, on a huge covered patio; street performers hang nearby too so theres plenty of action to keep everybody intrigued. Just keep an eye on them as N.O. can be hectic. ALL they have are beignets, so its not a lunch place, just a brunch or snack destination.br/br/
