Track Kitchen Description

There's nothing fancy about the location or the food, but kids will love the chance to shamelessly eavesdrop on the racing conversations taking place all around them—not to mention the chance to spot a real industry superstar. Odds are good that a breakfast at Keeneland will have you rubbing shoulders with the elite owners, trainers, and jockeys in thoroughbred racing—not a bad deal for the $5 or so breakfast will cost you; the options are basic but well prepared: biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereal, fruit, and pancakes.

Planning Notes

Know where to go. The kitchen is near the barn, under the black water tower—just follow the signage.
Who is the jockey and who is the trainer? The jockeys are always watching their weight, so they're the ones not eating or "indulging" in plain toast and some fruit.
