Gino's East Description
Deep-dish pizza is a Chicago staple, but Gino's does theirs with a twist: they build it upside-down, with cheese on the bottom, toppings in the middle, and sauce on top. The resulting pie is an ooey-gooey treat that requires a fork, but kids will get a kick out of the new take on a familiar meal. While you're waiting for a table (Gino's East is almost always packed), kids can leave their mark on the historic establishment by drawing on the walls. Just remind them not to try that at home.

Great pizza, fun atmosphere
What we didn't love:
Always a long wait, but it's worth it
This is our favorite pizza in town! Where else can you get a sausage pizza that puts a sausage patty over the whole pizza! Yum. The atmosphere is great with kids too - it's a little loud so you don't have to worry about how much noise they're making. They LOVE to write their names on the wall - then look for them again when you go back next time! Just a great experience all around. Worth the wait (which there always is).Read More
