Uno Chicago Grill Description
Uno Chicago Grill (formerly known as Pizzeria Uno) is credited as the birthplace of Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, which is thicker and gooier than traditional deep dish. Since opening in 1943, Uno has become a Chicago pizza-lover's haven, but even if you don't love pizza, you're sure to find something on the menu, which includes sandwiches and salads.
Planning Notes
- It's not your typical pizza. Chicago-style deep-dish pizza is jam-packed with toppings, and the texture may not appeal to fussy eaters.
- It's a tourist destination. Expect long waits to be seated during lunch or dinner time, especially during tourist season and on weekends.
