Wah-Hoo Revue Description

Kids and grown-ups alike will laugh themselves silly at this western BBQ and family-friendly comedy show. The night begins with an outdoor chuckwagon dinner, loaded with ribs and chicken (and hot dogs for the little ones), beans and corn, and all the fixins. After dinner, step inside the historic Sun Valley Opera House and join the Wild West Players for a fun and funny, rip-roarin' musical revue, with plenty of singing, dancing, pratfalls and jokes. It's family entertainment at its best, with plenty of audience involvement.

Kid Tips

Babies: Bring disposable diapers and daily schedule information, such as nap time.

Toddlers & Pre-K: Dress kids warmly, since you'll be outside in the cool night air until the show starts.

Pre-Teens & Teens: The show is in Sun Valley Village, with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. This might be a good time to turn older kids loose for their own dinner or entertainment, although they'll certainly enjoy the show if they stay.

Planning Notes

  • Dinner is optional. You can purchase tickets for the show only, and have dinner elsewhere if you prefer. Since the show is in the heart of Sun Valley Village, there are plenty of dining options to choose from in easy walking distance.
  • Bring a jacket. Summer evenings get cool in the mountains.
  • Call ahead for tickets. Discounts are available for children and seniors.
