What we loved:
Its not the only place on Tybee Island to eat.

What we didn't love:
Poor food, slow service, verbally abusive owner

We stopped here on July 5 because we had a very hungry 3-year-old and this was the only place we could find that had parking available nearby. That should have been our first warning. The second should have been the "help wanted" sign on the door. We placed our order - two hot dogs and an order of popcorn shrimp - took a seat in the outside patio and then waited 45 minutes without any sign of the food appearing. When I went inside the restaurant to ask about our food, I initiated the conversation with "Excuse me, but weve been waiting 45 minutes for our food." The owner immediately launched into a sarcastic tirade, asking if I was aware that it was a holiday weekend and they were very busy. I said I understood that but 45 minutes was still a long time to wait for such basic, easy to prepare food. The owner continued to argue with me and then offered me my money back. I said "I dont want my money back, I want my food. I have a hungry 3-year-old out there. Can you at least tell me how much longer it will be?" He told me our food would probably be next. Ten minutes later the food appeared and it was some of the most disgusting slop Ive ever had, let alone paid $21 and change for. Stay far, far away from this place. Youd be better off to go to the beach and eat some washed-up seaweed. It would taste better and you could get it quickly, without the verbal abuse.br/ Read More
