Le Cafe du Commerce Description
It looks plain from the outside but don't be fooled: This is one of the prettiest restaurants in Paris. With three floors of tables around a balcony decorated with verdant plants and underneath a domed glass ceiling, Café du Commerce is like eating in an indoor garden. The food is delicious and traditional French haute cuisine: From homemade foie gras to slow-cooked pork feet.
Planning Notes
- You need a reservation. If you're planning to dine between 8 p.m. and midnight, reservations are highly recommended.
- Take the Metro. The restaurant is equidistant from Emile Zola and Commerce.
- After the Eiffel Tower. A 25-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Champs de Mars, eating here is the perfect cap to a day of sightseeing.
- Best for older kids. This isn't a family restaurant though families are not frowned upon and there's even a 10 Euro children's option but we recommend you take your kids here when they're old enough to appreciate fine food.
