We have eaten at the Sci Fi many times, my children absolutely love eating in the "cars", the feeling of being outside at night, and the old time monster movie trailers on the movie screen. They love the kid friendly burgers, fries, and shakes. The adults have less of a selection. I have been dissapointed in most of the food I have gotte there, I would definitely stick with a burger and fries. the food is also a bit pricey and it is definitely not worth one of your able service meals if you are on the Disney Dining Plan. it is a fun place for kids, just dont expect too much from the food.
