Crystal Palace Description
Set in the heart of the Magic Kingdom, the Crystal Palace is an upscale but completely kid-friendly dining experience set within a Southern-style mansion. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner seatings are available. The sightings of Winnie the Pooh and the gang from the 100 Acre Wood will thrill the kids, but the impressive spread of family favorites will satisfy parents (and picky eaters, too).
Planning Notes
- Book it. Plan a Crystal Palace character dining experience well in advance (up to 180 days ahead) of coming to Walt Disney World.
- Have your camera ready. The characters come to each table taking photos with diners.
- Dress down. While the atmosphere is upscale, your clothes don't need to be. Virtually everyone wears shorts.
- Think chunky. Have your camera and autograph book ready. Large, chunky pens are easiest for the characters to hold.
Reviews of Crystal Palace
Not so enchanting.

What we loved:
Not much.
What we didn't love:
The long wait to be seated. The dirty dishes that sat on our table.
We were excited to celebrate my sons 4th birthday the actual day at the crystal palace. Our reservations were for 7:40pm and we did not get in until 9:10pm. Needless to say our 4 year old was grouchy and hungry by the time we got in. Once we were seated it tool another 15 minutes for a waitress to get our drink order and we were told to wait for her before going to the buffett. The restaurant was overcrowded and noisy. The only charactor that came to our table was eeyore. We saw pooh from a distance, but no other charactors. To make it worse, Eeyore was walking by us as we were walking back to our table and SHOVED my birthday boy into the wall. We did not get any dishes cleared from our table. Our bill for a family of four was over $137.00. This was a very dissappointing meal. This was our first day at WDW and by far the worst. I am happy to say that the rest of our trip was magical- minus this meal. Read More
Crystal Palace- a Terrific Place- Not to be Missed!

What we loved:
This is a FABULOUS place to not only eat, but enjoy family time!
What we didn't love:
My family loves the food, the fun and lively characters, and the fun!
Crystal Palace should be on your list of MUST-DOs for your vacation. Whether you are vacationing with or without children, and not matter what ages your children are, this is modertaley priced restaraunt that offers so much more than food!br/Winnie characters meander about while guests enjoy a plentiful buffet. These characters are not look-only. In fact, they interact wonderfully with everyone! This past time we went, my 12 year old son had his back to the main part of the restraunt. Tigger came over and crouched down to my son Nathan, and stared at him from behind. Entraced by his food, Nathan paid no attention. But----the rest of the restraunt did! We all watched as Tigger slowly moved from behind Nathan to his side, and as Nathan had no clue at all! Finally, Nathan saw Tigger, gasped and nearly jumped! We all laughed along with Nathan and much of the on-looking restraunt, and enjoyed Tiggers trick. br/This is just one example of the fun my family, including a 8, 12, 13, and 16 your old son has experienced! As we have gone many times over the years, I have experienced the Crystal Palace with all ages of kids, and even without them. Each time the experience is different, and treasured! Please make this a part of your vacation- I cant wait to go again....and again.... Read More

What we loved:
Breakfast there is amazing.
What we didn't love:
The tables are a little close but, It wasnt too bad.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. Pretty much everything you think of when you eat breakfast. Cereal, waffles, eggs, meats, fruits ect... The menu does change frequently but it still stays pretty traditional. Last time we ate there you could get custom pancakes! Yum!br/The characters were great too. They came around at least once and stopped to play and take photos. I was a little annoyed by parents that were letting their kids follow and pester the characters It wasnt fair to the well behaved children. but, Disney cast members tried to make sure every one got a fair turn with the gang from 100 Acre Wood.
