What we loved:
Service, flavor, details, location

What we didn't love:
People to respecting dress policy, not for kids

I love this place. My husband and I met a friend of mine here for dinner and were really looking forward to it. Citricos is upstairs in the Grand Floridian Resort which has a very opulent, turn of the century feel. It is upstairs, adjacent to Victoria and Alberts restaurant which is WAY out of out price league! We had reservations and only had to wait a short while for our table to be ready for dinner. There is a sign on the main kiosk advising about attire, and we were disappointed to see a man being seated wearing camo shorts, a cutoff denim shirt and a cowboy hat with a do-rag. I understand that a lot of folks are coming in from the parks and such, but this is a NICE PLACE, so a little effort goes a long way to keeping the upscale atmosphere. I wish the cast member had enforced it, but alas. Our server was a gem, you could tell he really liked his job. From entree to dessert, everything was beautifully presented, all questions were explained and of course we had to taste each others plates. The food was delicious and artfully crafted. There were some younger kids around who clearly were not impressed with the atmosphere and ambiance, but thankfully their parents kept them from being too loud or took them out for "correcting" when they were. Not really a place I would recommend for young kids, but great for a romantic dinner. We were able to see part of the "Wishes" fireworks from inside, which was a great bonus. We went back this past Valentines for a special dinner and were disappointed that the experience was not a nice as the last one. Portions seemed smaller, our server disappeared a few times and there was less attention to detail. My husband wrote an email to gently voice our displeasure and promptly got a phone call the next day from the manager. She apologized profusely and offered us a free meal on our next visit to make it right. We plan to take another trip in August and are certainly looking forward to having 3 times be the charm. You can always count on Disney service to make things right, and we reward them with reviews like this. Sicilian fillet, here we come! Read More
