Reviews of Artist Point

Great service but not worth the price.

What we loved:
Gread service, nice atmosphere

What we didn't love:
Food not as great as we remebered, loud

My husband had been here before so we added Artist Point to pour list of nicer restaurants to try during our stay last summer. It was OK, not amazing our fantastic, just OK. Maybe we were spoiled by the amazing meal we had at Citiricos I dont know. The Smokey Portobello Soup was good, if not a bit salty, and Im glad they jazzed it up with garnish or it would have looked unappealing. I got the Signature Cedar Plank Wild Roasted KIng Salmon With spring vegetables Orange-Soy Buerre Blanc and Parsley oil. - $37.00. As you will see in the picture, its a small salmon steak with a few pieces of broccoli. The sauce was tasty though. Bob was unimpressed with his Buffalo fillet. I know they are going for a rustic feel, but they are kind of missing the mark food-wise. The highlight of the evening was the servers suggestion of a glass of Disneys signature red champagne called Magicale. OH WOW. This stuff is lovely, with a creamy frutiness and hints of raspberries. I am not a wine person and prefer Spumante to champagne but this was well worth the price, even if the rest of the meal wasnt. Read More

This was $37.00. Jeez.
