Aquarium Restaurant Description
Eat with the fishes at this restaurant situated around a 150,000-gallon aquarium, located inside the largest public aquarium between Chicago and California. The aquarium is owned by Landry's Seafood Restaurants. Each day at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., divers enter the tank to feed the fish (arrive at least 30 minutes earlier to ensure tank-side seating).
Planning Notes
- Prepare for questions. Precocious kids or vegetarian pre-teens/teens might balk at the idea of eating seafood while observing marine life; be prepared for some "teachable moments."
- No reservations needed. If you're traveling in an unusually large group, however, you still might want to call ahead for "priority seating," just in case.
- Come as you are. Casual dress is OK.
- Park across the street. If you drive, park in the lot across the street for $6, a steal by most downtown standards.
