Cosmos Cafe Description
The superhero-emblazoned menus include salmon and milk (warmed when asked) among the usual kiddie fare. Portions are healthy and tasty and older kids will like the funky music soundtrack. The large sunken patio on the main city drag offers protection from the wind and a good view of passersby. When you're done it's a short walk to the area attractions.
Planning Notes
- Go to the bathroom. This washroom is worth a trip with the kids even if no one needs to use it! Kids of all ages will love the fishtank wall (through which they can make out diners on the other side) stone cut sink and unique waterfall faucet.
- Go early. After 7 p.m. the clientele changes to an older, hipper after-work crowd. Aim for lunch or an early supper and you'll have lots of other families for company.
