Spagettini Le Resto Description
Kids love this spot where waiters are friendly, a waterfront-view patio beckons and a choose-your-own-treat treasure box awaits. The fact that the dish of choice is spaghetti (served with meat sauce) doesn't hurt it's popularity either. In the heart of old Quebec city, the spot is perfect for an early evening meal and a walk when its over.
Planning Notes
- Order lightly. Adult portions and kids portions are hard to tell apart. Consider splitting a dish between little children or be prepared to cart home the left overs.
- Experiment with Transportation. Leave the car at the hotel and skip the cab. Steps from the funiculaire — an electrical rail tram that runs down a cliff from Upper Town to Lower Town in Old Quebec ($1.75 per person; kids under 3 feet are free) — and right on the electric Ecolobus line (free), there are plenty of options that allow you to enjoy the city.
- Grab a table outside. Even on cool evenings you'll appreciate being out and amongst the bustle of foot traffic in this funky neighbourhood. Kids will love the excuse to reach for one of the blankets slung over each chair to keep warm. When the weather really turns cold, the dining room inside offers a cozy alternative.
