Creperie Le Triskell Description
A charming restaurant with red and white checked table cloths, Le Triskell has the best crepes in Montreal at the most reasonable prices. Wide-angle photos of Brittany, bag pipes, and wooden clogs grace the walls, and an extensive menu of scrumptious eats includes sarrisan à la provençale (buckwheat crepes with tomatoes and garlic butter), tortellini, snails, lobster, large salads, and omelets of all kinds.
Planning Notes
- Ask for a seat near the window. The kids will love to watch the world of St. Denis go by as you eat.
- Consider sharing. There's no kids' menu per se, but portions are large enough that one or two dishes can be split between those with smaller appetites.
- Try the leek soup. It's delicious.
- Better than Chez Suzette. The other crepe restaurant in Old Montreal, Chez Suzette, is twice as expensive for half the quality.
