The Poop Deck Description
Beloved for the view of Nassau Harbor, which is one of the most spectacular on the island, diners at the Poop Deck look out over water on three sides. The restaurant offers a great combination of top-notch food with casual yacht club atmosphere; shorts and flip-flops are fine here, at least for lunch. Snapper, grouper, mahi mahi, and all the local favorites (conch and more conch) are served fresh from the boat.
Planning Notes
- Table notes. Come early to get a table on the deck as close to the riling as possible.
- Stick to the original. While the new Poop Deck at Sandyport gets more press, the original is preferred by locals and families for its more laid-back vibe.
- As you like it. This is a great place for those picky about their fish, as they're famous for their willingness to prepare it any way you ask.
